For those of us who have lived in the Lake Travis area long enough to remember when the intersection of RR 620 South and Hwy 71 West was vast, rolling hill country the explosion of growth in population and businesses has brought a great deal of exciting change to the place we call home. Because of the beauty, the quality of public education, and now the plethora of amenities, families have been moving to the Lake Travis area in droves!
The area is constantly adding new businesses and we are particularly excited about this one -
Whole Foods Market Inc., will be building a retail center near the Hill Country Galleria in 2012. The organic and natural food supermarket chain is based in Austin and is a rising star - listed by Forbes as "Best 100 Companies to Work For" for 13 consecutive years and adding several new stores in 2012.
