Lake Travis ISD has received the Texas Education Agency's highest rating, "Exemplary." The ratings are based on standardized testing scores, retention rate, and drop out rate. The district received a zero percent drop out rate and a 98.5% retention rate. Ratings for individual schools for the 2009-2010 school are:
